Position Description
Pega Practice is part of OGS BPM horizontal working with multiple ASGs, Business Segment & external clients in future. This team would be responsible to executing Pega solutions across UHG business segments internal or external. This role requires extensive stakeholder interaction, Domain & Technical solution capabilities to assist business teams in a consultative mode.
This would be a great opportunity to work with an experienced team, along with great exposure to play front line role in IT team and work on innovative, fast paced and business critical Agile based projects.
Primary responsibilities:
• Min 6 yrs. for experience in Pega PRPC.
• Must have worked on at least one Agile Scrum based project, preferably as Developer/Individual Contributor.
• Experience in understanding business requirements for BPM and BAM applications.
• Aware of various Software Development Methodologies. (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Smart BPM & Pega Scrum etc.)
• Hands on experience with the Pega PRPC tool & good enough on features like Discovery Maps, Case Management etc.
• Analyze requirements, and business process flows and create functional Specs/Detailed Design Documents.
• Create UI mockup and present it to business/IT teams
• Understand end to end business process and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business of today and future needs
• Provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates
• Help coordinate and troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and come up with effective solutions.
• Work as bridge between onsite BA/SA/Business and other IT teams (onsite and offshore)
• Support unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business.
• Participate in the development of business strategy.
• Translate complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences.
• Come up with new ideas, products, and/or approaches to business problems.
• Handle smaller projects/SPRFs independently, including interactions with other teams and 3rd parties for design.
• Involvement with senior management in terms of supplying input for key design decisions, as well as work estimation and resource planning Requirements.
• Design, code, document and support the assigned tasks
• Ensure compliance with established specifications and business requirements
• Interpret business requirements related to a significant elementof a system application
• Document unit test plans; complete unit testing successfully
• Provide input / assist in conducting system feasibility studies
• Review deliverables and ensure quality of deliverables
• Assist in defining requirements; Perform detailed analysis of systems specifications for complex systems
• Complete efficient coding on complex applications
• Participate in walkthrough meetings
• Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and


Requirements

Desired Skills:
• 6+ years of Pega PRPC experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Should be self-driven and individual contributor.
• Good understanding of SDLC and UHG IT tools and processes
• US Healthcare domain knowledge would be added advantage
• Desired to have Provider touch point program knowledge.
Eligibility:
• Minimum 18 months in the current role. 
• Not on Active CAP at the time of applying for the IJP.
• Employees designated currently as PL can apply for this position.
• Employees must notify their Current Manager before applying for the IJP
• Last Common Review rating should be meeting expectations or higher
